[ One fine day, when Yin is leaving work, she'll hear a voice. ]

[Which causes her to stop in her tracks. It's no mystery which direction the voice came from, or even who it is, but more like everything she does is done slowly. Deliberately. Still wearing her cafe uniform with the cat ears headband, the ears pitch forward in response to her curiosity. She tilts her head upward, though she cannot see; it's just a way to acknowledge that she hears the person trying to get her attention.

Yin, Yin! Come up here! I have something amazing to show you!

[Uncertain what it could be, she focuses on his voice and moves to the building beside her, entering it and making her way up the stairs. She's slow getting up there, but eventually emerges from a door situated on the roof, stopping to stand there and allowing the door to close behind her. She can hear the sound of something near him, what sounds like a machine of some kind, but it is not any clearer now that she is closer.]

[ When she gets onto the roof, he rushes over and gently takes her hand. ]

Over here!

[ And then leads her over to the vanship, placing her hand against the side of it. ]

Ta-da!! It's my vanship! It's finally here!

[Sleek, cool metal meets the palm of her hand that she keeps gently pressed against the side of the ship. The proof isn't necessary, but Dio is clearly excited about this development. And for that, she's happy for him.]

How did it get here?

[It's a process that she doesn't understand because there are no material things she actually desires, and it's never been something she's been instructed to look into.]

With some help from the Arehtei. It took a little while, but nothing can stop me from touching the clouds in the end!

[If the Arehtei can bring objects into this place, then how are they unable to keep people here, or send them back to their world? She wonders if certain answers will ever be discovered.

But for now, the technology in Dio's world sounded different when he last spoke of it. She wouldn't have thought a vanship could operate in Empatheias.]

Then it is able to function here?

[Can it reach the same heights that it does in his world? While Dio is not the first to have a ship here, she isn't aware of the details regarding how others might function, or particular fuel that is needed.]

[How it feels? Dio's always spoken of the emotions he feels while flying, but she wonders if she will experience the same. Flying isn't something she cares about, but Dio's enthusiasm for it has succeeded in making her curious. More importantly, his happiness is something that she cares about; this is something that she can experience with Dio. Something they can share.

And it is something that he wants to share with her.

She nods, and lets him guide her towards the vanship.]
